The item flew in August 1936. It was addressed to Vienna, Zollergasse 14; redirected to Mayerhofgasse 4. WIEN62 at Mondscheingasse is adjacent to Zollergasse; WIEN 50 at Taubstummengasse is quite close to Mayerhofgasse.
So it sets off from USA, trundles over the Atlantic, and lands at Frankfurt. Flown to Vienna (Aspen?) where it arrives at 6:20 pm. Taken to Telegraphenamt who rapidly send it to Wien 62 for delivery just round the corner. The recipient redirects it to a different person at a different address (no extra franking – naughty!). Somehow it gets into the system and lands at Wien 76 – maybe someone dropped it off on their way home. Wien 76 send it to Wien 50 who (presumably) delivered it.
