Dec 1950: This letter was sent airmail (by no less than Anton Kumpf von Mikuli, it says on the back!) on 15 Dec 1950 from Wien III to Amsterdam. The cancel is WIEN 40 which is Landstrasse-Hauptstrasse at Rasumofskygasse 29; although no minutes are given the 'counter letter' R/a denotes pneumatic transport. There is a faint censor mark in the bottom left; the large violet 'k' is believed to be the mark of the censor's supervisor. Franked 230. Surface is 170 for 20gram; Air is 60 for 20gram; total 230.
