However, 42 groschen is the rate for a local letter with both express delivery and sender-requested pneumatic forwarding. It would have been adequate to apply 38 groschen: inland letter 18 + express delivery 20. Or 39 groschen if all they had was 3 groschen stamps. Sent to W101, Westbahnhof, thence by train.
