There are a large number of cancellations connected with the carol "Stille Nacht (Silent Night)" showing the writer, the composer, the place it was first sung, an anniversary, and so on. Some are shown here. The images were scanned from original documents, and (as far as was possible) the background clutter (eg dashed lines on post cards to write the address on) removed. Then they were contrast-enhanced, and finally size-adjusted to all be 500 pixels wide.
